Music to my ears

Today my monkey said the words I have been waiting to hear....she said "mama". I was so excited, we called daddy to have him hear it too, but of course she wouldn't say it. So, we tried numerous times after he got home, and nothing. In my way of thinking, it isn't really real until someone else gets to hear it too, so we just kept trying. Then, finally, the moment came...
Sitting in her tub, fussy and ready to get out, she uttered the words every mother wants to hear...."mama" and the best part was that Daddy got to hear it too!!!
Ahhh, music to my ears!!
