Hey, what can you do when it is tooooo cold to go outside? Build forts inside of course! Kailey generally asks to build forts in the afternoon and LOVES to play inside them. When daddy gets home, the first thing Kailey does is make Daddy get into the fort too.
No fort is complete without hot chocolate....

Our fort building has gotten pretty complex the last few days. I think GI Joe better watch out. Our latest fort is ready for some serious action.....
Noise makers to alert if the enemy is near...
Friends ready to go to battle...
Daddy will help keep the enemy out... (the enemies include Sydney who knocks down the fort with her tail, or mommy who says it is time for dinner.....NOOOOOO!!!)

Kailey, we know the fort is only for show. Who needs protection from walls when you have ninja skills?!
Just wait until Gunga takes her out in the wild and teaches her how to catch snakes and eat worms!! It's in her blood ya know! But at least she will do it in style--bedazzled with her jewels as she is playing GI Jane.
