Mother's Day

For Mother's Day, we went to the zoo and had a great time. It was chilly, but that is much better than sweating all day and pretending to have fun. Along the way we met some friends, in the form of Geese. Okay, friends is probably a strong word since they kept hissing at Kailey. And when we tried to eat our lunch, one kept waddling up to us and pecking at our clothes and at Kailey. Marcus "nudged" one away with his foot and got a nasty look from another mom who told her daughter that geese were actually very nice animals. Yeah, lady, really nice, especially when they are pecking at your child!! GEEZ!Check out the video...the goose really does hiss at her....pretty funny!!!
Anyhoo, we had a very nice day. For my present, Marcus got me one of those floaties that they have at resorts...it is AWESOME!! Kailey thought so too...Oh and the day before, I got all to myself and went to get a sugar body scrub/massage and a pedicure. Marcus arranged it for me!! What a fabulous Mother's Day weekend!!
