Pool Time

Today we went with some friends to the pool at BlackBob Bay. It is a pool/mini waterpark. As soon as we walked in Kailey exclaimed, "This is Fabulous!!!" and "I love it here Mommy!" and that was even BEFORE we got into the water. She had fun going down the kid slide, but was not interested whatsoever in the big bucket that dropped water on you. I was really proud of her, she was nice to all of her friends today and didn't say anything mean or whiney until it was time to leave. Then, of course, it was all about how she didn't want to leave. Can't win em all.

In the afternoon we headed back to the neighborhood pool to meet some friends. It was a BIG deal, because after living here for 7 years, this was our first time there. Yup, you read that right. Anyhoo, Kailey and Timmy played and jumped for about an hour and a half. Again, yes, you read that right, Kailey was jumping into the pool all by herself. She had done this at Grandma's house a few times, but still wouldn't do it for me today. I had to keep catching her. But, after watching Timmy do it over and over again, she finally started doing it! I was soo proud of her! She LOVED it! Timmy is a good influence on her, first he gets her to ride her bike, now he has her jumping in the pool. Wonder what is next, bungee jumping??
It was a fun outside day, but Mommy is burnt and tired!!!
