A Quiet Monday at home.

Monday we decided to stay home and just chillax. We started our morning off by taking a bike ride/mommy walk the dog to the park. Kailey is really getting good at riding her bike. There were 2 kids there, but Kailey didn't seem interested in playing with them, just watching them. It is interesting to see her around kids she doesn't know. Most of the time, she just watches them and it breaks my heart because you just KNOW she wants to play with them. ARgh...only child syndrome!!! (sidebar, tonight she wouldn't even play with the kids at chick-fil-a, makes me soo sad). Anyhoo, after our bike ride, we watched Alice in Wonderland while eating our breakfast of champions. Then we went up to the playroom and played baby, (Kailey is really into playing baby, and not with dolls. Baby where SHE is the baby) and doctor. Then mommy got tired of role-playing and wanted to do some crafts. Is is bad that I don't want to do the role play very often? I feel like she is missing out. hmmm, okay, anyway, we made fingerprint butterflys with our ink pads.

Then it was lunch and nap time, oh and shower time for mommy. Felt like the old days of being home with her!!

We had an impromptu and much needed visit from the Maturey Ladies in the afternoon. It was nice to hang out and chat while Bug was sleeping. Once she got up, the girls got on the swings for a little bit and then played in the sprinkler. Kailey had more fun getting Sydney wet and Addie just seemed to enjoy it altogether. Poor Alaryce, Kailey was talking her ear off about how she was a big girl and could do big girl things and Addie was just a baby and couldn't. (kinda like the annoying kid you don't want to talk to, yeah that was Kailey). Then Alaryce got to see her in rare form (well, let's be honest, not so rare) when Daddy got home and Kailey gave him the cold shoulder for no reason at all. Then played the part of drama queen to a T when she stomped off to play "all by myself in the treehouse and am never coming down." Lovely huh? Oh wait, I digress, I was telling you what a nice time we had before the drama....

Swinging girls....

Sydney really enjoys the sprinkler too....

So much fun!!!

I have no idea why she does this, but she loves to get her hair wet....

Such cuties....

yeah, even the dog is cute....or crazy...

The whole gang....and again with the hair....

Monkey see, monkey do.... Because an umbrella comes in handy even when it isn't raining...

Man, oh man. Kailey is TRYING to be a good girl, but sometimes it is just too hard I think. She definately has her daddy in her!! (because, let's be honest, I am perfect in every way!)

Liz - Love your posts! Two comments for you: 1)Three is the new two, and 2)My kids stare at kids they don't know, too. Even the most outgoing children have thier shy times.
